Little Sleeper A psychological horror visual novel about the weight that sits on your chest at 3am.

You are lying on your back. You cannot move. You cannot call out. Something is sitting on your chest, and it wants to talk.

Across five nights, a presence visits you in the dark — closer each time, saying more than it should. It has a voice. It has opinions about you. It knows things about you that you haven’t said out loud, even to yourself. And the longer you listen, the less certain you become about where you actually are, what’s holding you down — and what you’re really being asked to face.

Little Sleeper is a short, dialogue-driven horror experience about fear, memory, and the things we build monsters out of rather than look at directly. Every night, you choose how to respond — and every choice is quietly remembered.

Features:

  • Five nights of branching dialogue with a presence that isn’t what it seems
  • A slow-burn psychological twist that recontextualizes everything that came before
  • Two distinct endings shaped by how you chose to face the dark
  • Atmospheric visuals and sound built to unsettle, not just startle

This is a free demo (v0.1.0) — a taste of a larger story I am hoping to fully fund and finish. If it gets under your skin, consider following for updates on where it’s headed next.

Content note: themes of medical trauma, hospitalization, coma, and psychological distress. No jump scares, no gore — the horror here is quiet.

Platform note: this demo is currently Windows-only. Mac and Linux builds are planned for a future update — they’re just a bit more involved for a solo dev to test properly, so I want to get them right rather than rush a broken port. Thanks for your patience!
